My Story

Hi there! My name is Emma Moyer and I am a yoga teacher, career coach, virtual assistant, makeup artist, UGC content creator, and model. I love helping clients to relax, de-stress (because there's so much of that these days), achieve their goals and boost their self-confidence on the inside and out. As a virtual assistant (VA), my goal is to support my clients to the best of my ability on a range of projects such as calendar management, social media management, website management, content creation, and email maintenance. My personal experience with running two businesses and assisting yoga teachers in building their websites is how I've gained an interest in VA. I love working with yoga teachers, but am open to working with other clients as well. Education wise, I attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania for 4 years and received my Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies with minors in Studio Art, Graphic Design, Contemplative Studies, and Geology. In addition, I took over 15 credits in Psychology and Sociology.

In my free time I enjoy spending with my boyfriend and friends, practicing yoga, making art (link to my jewelry website), hiking, riding my bike, taking my paddle board on the local lake, playing the guitar and singing, messing around with makeup (obv), going shopping, reading, and watching movies - ONLY good ones!

My Yoga Approach

My yoga journey began in high school when my therapist recommended it to relieve anxiety and I immediately noticed a difference. I practiced off and on until taking a 3-credit yoga class at West Chester University. I completed my yoga teacher training in November of 2020 through Power Yoga Works in Malvern, PA. The training was specifically in Baron Baptiste Power Vinyasa Flow.

With yoga my focus is for adolescents, teenagers, and young adults to improve their overall health, wellbeing, and promote a sense of calm and stress relief. This is achieved through participating in classes, mindful self study, and gradual lifestyle changes. I want my students to walk away with tools to cope with stress, anxiety, but overall have fun with it, take it easy, and most importantly be patient with themselves. I have 5 years of experience working with children ages 4-16, but most specifically work with female adolescents (14-24) aiding in anxiety and stress relief, positive self image, and time management. My classes are gentle, hatha, and slow flow vinyasa style as well as one on one sessions. I recommend that my students begin taking my group classes and consider privates after getting to know me as a teacher.

My Beauty Approach

For makeup, I started professionally offering services in May of 2018 following a stage makeup course at West Chester University. In that class I learned corrective makeup techniques as well as some special FX as well. I have a passion for doing makeup and transforming each client's unique features. Nothing makes me happier than helping my clients achieve the look that they desire on their special day whether it is for wedding, prom, or other special occasion. At this point in time, I am no longer offering makeup application services but hope to offer them again in the near future.

I offer one on one makeup lessons and product consultation services. I recommend different products based on different skin care and personal needs. From becoming a yoga teacher and learning about the body's anatomy and holistic health I've began using less makeup in my day-to-day life. I am also an avid lover of the Earth and prefer to use vegan products with sustainable packaging.

I am a model and ultilize my makeup artistry on myself during bookings. I am open for bookings in 2024. For any booking inquiries, please email me at moonstonehippy@gmail.com.
